I started playing around with cameras when I was pretty young. Maybe elementary school. I was that girl who came up with tacky outfits for my friends to wear. I still have the first photos I took, they are HORRIBLE. I have been thinking about recreating them, some sort of diptych contrast but dont really have the time for it.
When I attempted college, I took several courses. The darkroom is an amazing place. I would get lost for hours just printing, enjoying the long long process. When I switched over to digital, I still took a lot from those film classes.
I never knew it was what I wanted to do. I always thought I would train horses, live on a farm, ya know. The simple life. My other option was to join the circus. (It’s still a dream)
About a year ago I was completely thrown in the world of Photography, made an upgrade in equipment. That’s about it.
